Dungeon Settlers Level Up - Goddess Statue Guide
Dungeon Settlers level up by filling a Settler’s XP during an expedition, returning to the Settlement, selecting that Settler, and using the Goddess Statue. Choose an Offering, review the displayed stat, Inscription, and skill-point result, then press Accept to finish the upgrade. Exact costs, result pools, and some unlock details remain unconfirmed in Early Access, so use the values shown by your current build.

FAQ
How do I level up in Dungeon Settlers?
Fill a Settler's XP bar, click the character, click the Goddess Statue, choose a prayer, select a rune/result, and press Accept. The current screenshot shows the character ready at 30/30 XP before the upgrade is accepted.
Where do I check my XP?
Open the Portal or expedition screen and check the selected Settler's XP bar. When it is full, stop looking for more XP and return to the Settlement for the Goddess Statue step.
How many Mana Stones does a level-up cost?
There is no safe universal number to memorize. One current Early Access report observed 4 Mana Stones for a Normal prayer and 24 for a later check; these are single observations and remain unconfirmed, so use the cost shown for the selected Settler and Offering before accepting.
Which Offering should I choose?
Use the cheaper option when you are leveling several core Settlers or your Mana Stone reserve is thin. Save a richer Offering for a permanent frontline or another role whose visible stat and Inscription result will affect the next expedition.
How to level up a Settler
1. Open the Portal or expedition screen and check the Settler's XP bar. Run expeditions until it fills, then bring the member home; a full bar signals when to stop, not a completed level-up.
2. Return to the Settlement and prepare the Goddess Statue step. The upgrade is completed at the statue, not by filling the bar alone.
3. If the statue is unavailable, research Wood Processing, use a Carpentry Workbench to make Wood Planks, then place a Wooden Goddess Statue from Special. The current Kaburanai workflow records 2 Wood Planks, but that count is a single observation and remains 待确认; use the in-game build preview.
4. The statue must be in a usable indoor room. The current workflow describes completed walls with a door, plus a Research Station with standing space and a clear path; check those access conditions before changing the party.
5. Select the Settler with full XP, then click the Goddess Statue. Confirm the name, choose the prayer or Offering, and read the displayed Mana Stone cost before paying.
6. Select the rune/result shown on the upgrade screen, review the visible stat change, Inscription, and skill-point result, then press Accept. Afterward, open the Skills or character screen and adjust the member’s role before the next expedition.
What you need before using the Goddess Statue
You need a full XP bar, a built Goddess Statue, and enough Mana Stones for the Offering. A current screenshot shows 30/30 XP before acceptance; this is a single observation, not a universal threshold. Select the capped member before opening the statue.
If the statue is unavailable, research Wood Processing, use the Carpentry Workbench to make Wood Planks, then choose Special → Wooden Goddess Statue. The current workflow also describes completed indoor walls with a door and a Research Station with standing space and a clear path; exact unlock conditions remain 待确认.
What does a level-up give you?
The result screen can change a Settler's stats and offer an Inscription; some screens also show a skill point. Read the result before accepting, then check the character sheet after the upgrade.
Compare the stat, Inscription, and skill point with the member's job before changing position, weapon, or skill order. If the result does not make that job safer, save future Mana Stones for a clearer use.
Why Am I Stuck at 30/30 EXP?
30/30 EXP is the ready signal, not the completed level-up. This value comes from a current screenshot and remains version-sensitive, so treat the visible full bar as the actionable signal. The Settler stays at the current level until you return to the Settlement, select that Settler, use the Goddess Statue, choose an Offering and result, then press Accept.
At 30/30, stop farming XP and check the selected name, statue interaction, displayed cost, and Accept button. The preview or Retry does not finish the level. Building the Wooden Goddess Statue and having two level-2 units are separate quest counters.
How Many Inscriptions Appear?
The current first-playthrough screenshot shows five visible rune or Inscription result icons across the upgrade panel. On that single observed screen, there are five choices to compare before accepting one; the exact result pool remains 待确认.
Treat five as a screen observation, not a permanent rule for every level, Offering, recruit, or future Early Access build. Read the actual effect on each option and use the current panel if a later screen shows a different number.
Which Offering should you choose?
Current player reports show Minimal, Normal, and Plentiful choices. They suggest a richer Offering generally gives larger stat growth, but the relationship remains unconfirmed. Start with Normal when leveling several core Settlers so the reserve is not emptied on one member.
Use a richer Offering for a permanent frontline, healer, or another role you will take into the next floors. Compare the visible stat bonus and Inscription with that role before paying.
One report displayed a 50% Stat Increase Bonus for Plentiful and different Mana Stone costs between upgrades. These are single EA observations, still 待确认; use the number beside your current Offering.
How Retry Works
Retry rerolls the visible upgrade result instead of applying it. It is a paid reroll: read the extra Mana Stone amount shown before pressing it, and keep enough for the next expedition.
Use Retry only when the result does not fit the Settler’s role and the cost is worth another chance. Do not treat it as free or assume the Offering is refunded; exact cost and reset behavior remain build-sensitive.
Accept is the completion button. Keep the displayed result with Accept; after a reroll, compare the new choices before spending again.
What Does Growth Fatigue Mean?
Growth Fatigue is the symptom to watch when a Settler has reached a full-growth state. A current player observation showed it alongside 30/30 XP, so stop sending that same member out for more XP and finish the Goddess Statue interaction instead.
The exact penalty and clearing rule for Growth Fatigue are not stable enough to turn into a fixed number. If it remains after the upgrade, check the current character panel and follow the text shown by the live build rather than farming more experience blindly.
If the level-up is not working
The XP bar is not full: run another safe expedition and bring the Settler home when it fills. The Goddess Statue cannot solve missing XP, so wait until the member is ready.
XP is full but the level has not changed: return home, select the character, click the Goddess Statue, choose the prayer and result, then press Accept. Filling XP only makes the Settler ready.
The Goddess Statue is missing or unusable: research Wood Processing, make Wood Planks, build it from Special, and check the indoor room, door, standing space, and clear path. Search for another floor only after this gate is complete.
The Offering costs too much or the result looks wrong: choose a cheaper prayer or leave the resource unspent. Before Accept, recheck the Settler and preview; if unclear, record the exact text for the next version check.
