Dungeon Settlers Controls - Mouse, Camera & Hotkeys
Dungeon Settlers controls: the current in-game help screens list I for Inventory, K for Skills, U for Status, plus F, G, and H for unit behavior. Mouse-only camera control is also reported by players, but this page does not yet claim to be a complete keyboard or controller map.

FAQ
What are the confirmed Dungeon Settlers hotkeys?
The supplied in-game help screens list I for Inventory, K for Skills, U for Status, F for Auto Skill, G for Hold Position, and H for Prioritize Sleep.
Can I play Dungeon Settlers with a mouse?
Players report that middle-mouse dragging and screen-edge camera panning make mouse-only play comfortable. The exact current keymap still needs in-game verification.
Does edge panning work in windowed mode?
A player in the referenced Steam discussion later reported that edge panning can work in windowed mode, but the exact distance from the screen edge was not confirmed.
Confirmed hotkeys from the current help screen
The supplied in-game help screen is page 3 of 7 and shows three entries under Hotkeys: I opens the Inventory, K opens Skills, and U opens Status. These are the keys currently visible in that screenshot, not a claim that the page contains every binding in the game.
Unit behavior shortcuts from the current tutorial
A current unit-behavior help page lists F for Auto Skill, G for Hold Position, and H for Prioritize Sleep. F lets a unit use abilities automatically once it has enough energy; G makes the unit hold its position and wait for orders; H prioritizes sleep-related actions.
These are behavior commands rather than menu-opening keys. Use them when you want to control what a selected unit does without repeatedly issuing the same order, and check the current tutorial if a later build changes the behavior.
Mouse and camera controls reported by players
A player discussion reports that you can hold and drag with the middle mouse button to pan the camera. The same discussion also describes moving the mouse to the edge of the screen as another way to pan.
The later reply in that thread says edge panning can work in windowed mode too, although the exact distance from the edge was not established. Another player says the game is comfortable to play with only a mouse, while noting that the tutorial may still ask for some keyboard input. Treat these as player reports rather than a complete official control specification.
What is not confirmed yet
This page does not yet confirm the full keyboard map, whether every action can be rebound, a controller layout, the exact edge-panning threshold, or every key requested by the tutorial. Do not infer those details from the I, K, and U entries alone.
When a new help-screen page or control prompt appears during play, send a screenshot with the page number visible. We can then add the observed binding to this page with its date and version boundary instead of turning one screenshot into a universal rule.

Version note: The I, K, U, F, G, and H entries below are confirmed from supplied in-game help screens. Other controls remain partial or player-reported until a current in-game screen confirms them.
